The Bizarreness With Brain Injury

Brain injured people often make up terms and names to describe the strange and invisible internal problems they have to deal with.

"The Bizarreness" is an all encompassing term I made up to describe the strange ways I felt after my TBI that took place over 25 years ago. Most brain injured people have a long list of strange internal problems. In this presentation I try to list and describe my internal problems plus how they interconnect with one another to explain the overall bizarre nature of having a brain injury.

It is not possible to explain brain injury but we can try. Hi my name is Daniel Avesar, PhD. I have been doing this BBA talk series and another podcast called Experiencing My Brain. These projects focus on the internal nature of brain injury problems. Promoting better understanding of brain injury can help others because we need help, support, and general understanding of often very bizarre issues that come with injury to the brain.
