3D LUT Creator Workflow

This tutorial demonstrates the 3D LUT Creator workflow for photo editing. In the video, I bring a photo into 3D LUT Creator, edit it and export the LUT back to Photoshop, and then finish editing the photo using Photoshop tools as well as Luminar and Color Efex Pro plug-ins to achieve the final result. Along the way, the changes made are explained at each step.

The video, which is my first workflow video using 3D LUT Creator, is part of my ongoing series on learning how to use 3D LUT Creator.

3D LUT Creator is probably the most powerful and sophisticated software available for working with color. Blasphemous as it may sound, it's even more powerful than Photoshop. Plus, its power has been designed to be equally harnessed for both still photography and video. One problem, however, is that its documentation is, in my opinion, not particularly clear and there is precious little training available for the software.

My goal for this video series is to generate interest in the software (I have no financial association or affiliation) and provide a video course that will clearly teach and explain how this remarkable software can be used in conjunction with Photoshop to help achieve one's artistic vision in still photography and video color grading.
