1/2 - 1 Chinese sausage for pork filling (optional), diced

1/2 cup warm milk (124 g)
1/2 cup warm water (118 g)
4 Tbsp sugar (50 g), divided
1 Tbsp dry active yeast (9 g)
1 tsp baking powder (5 g)
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp oil (26 g)
