Emma Macdonald is the co-founder and CEO of TBCo, an award-winning, sustainable and uniquely Scottish retail brand. Originally launched as The Tartan Blanket Co., TBCo now offers a range of lifestyle and homeware products and is stocked in some of the world’s most prestigious retailers, including Selfridges, Liberty, and Anthropologie. The brand focuses on unique, high-quality products that inspire self-expression while protecting the planet. 🏡

Karen was born in New York but has lived in the UK for more than 15 years and now calls Edinburgh home. She leads Digital Boost, a community of thousands of volunteers who help people start and grow businesses. She says, ‘I’m so grateful to Scotland for the opportunities it has given me. I’ve met so many incredible people doing incredible things here. I can’t wait for everyone to hear about them!'
