Our sermon series "Going the Distance: Moses the Sequel" continues with a message by Pastor Steve titled "The Crossing." We are reading from Joshua 3. Ready to move out of the wilderness? After 40 years of wilderness wanderings, Joshua brings the people to the Jordan River on the opposite side of the promised land. The time has come. But how will they cross this flowing water? How will God instruct and guide the entire people of Israel to cross the Jordan River? Will this generation of Israelites listen? Will they (and we) step out in faith, following God and trusting in God's goodness?
