Welcome to the livestream worship service from historic Laguna Presbyterian Church in downtown Laguna Beach, California!

This Sunday, we enter the Season of Advent. The message is given by Rev. Dr. Kathy Sizer, "The Rest of the Story," as we begin our new series, “The Voices of Advent.” This morning, we listen to the voice of Jesus from Mark 13.

We are reminded in Mark's Gospel that Advent is designed to cultivate our awareness of God's actions - past, present, and future. While we remember Israel's waiting and hoping and we give thanks for Christ's birth, we also anticipate and get more in touch with our deepest longing for Christ to come again.

Let us embark on our Advent Journey with eager anticipation, preparing to welcome Christ into our hearts anew. The mystery of God's love for us is that we welcome the One who already welcomes us!
