A conversation with Mr. Snehal Desai

Mr. Desai is an accomplished professional whose career beautifully blends technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for teaching. An engineer from the Centre for Environment Planning and Technology (CEPT), he went on to complete his MBA in Finance from Gujarat University—and was notably the first person from CEPT to pursue an MBA degree.

Over the years, Mr. Desai has contributed across diverse sectors including venture capital, port and energy industries, and PNG-CNG, leading initiatives in business development, mergers and acquisitions, financial and commercial management, and organizational growth. His visionary leadership has consistently added value and helped organizations scale new heights.

Alongside his corporate achievements, Mr. Desai is a highly respected visiting faculty at premier institutions such as IIM Ahmedabad, EDII, Nirma Institute of Management, ICAI, and many others. As a corporate trainer, he has conducted over 1,000 sessions and mentored more than 80,000 professionals, making a lasting impact on both students and industry leaders.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Desai is also a musician and a passionate mentor who continues to inspire through his multifaceted interests and contributions.
