Do you want to deeply relax your mind and body through visualization?
In this video, learn how to use the power of your mind to connect with your inner body to achieve a deep state of relaxation.
Why Practice Relaxation and Visualization?
People often note that they don't have time "to sit around and do nothing," such as a meditation or relaxation exercise. But when you're doing this type of work... you ARE doing something!
You're giving your mind and body time and space to move into the Relaxation Response, which is where we're meant to be most of the time.
In addition, interoception is the ability to "feel" your inner body and is an important skill to build. The sooner you can sense your discomfort, whether it be emotional (sad, mad, scared, etc.) or physical (hungry, tired, ill, etc.), the sooner you can course-correct your way back to balance.
So give it a try, and let us know how it goes! Just like any new skill, with repeated practice, you'll likely find that you can relax more quickly and deeply! It's also an excellent way to practice your interoception muscle (your ability to sense and shift your inner body).
