What it is, the basic idea behind it, and why it can be helpful for people who feel caught in worry, rumination, and overthinking.
Instead of focusing on the content of your thoughts, MCT looks at how your mind relates to your thoughts. This shift can help you develop a new and more relaxed relationship with your thoughts and help you build mental resilience so you are not automatically pulled into every thought that shows up.
