I prune and discuss my tray of miniature succulent bonsai, which include:
a Sedum furfuraceum (Bonsai Sedum),
two Portulacaria afras (Lilliput cultivar),
Crassula ovata (Gollum), and
two dwarf Crassula ovatas (possibly Crosby’s Compact).
I also repot my Portulacaria afra that is styled as an upright conifer, in the hopes that a repot will help it grow with more vigor this growing season.
Miniature succulent bonsai are fun and easy to care for. Because they are succulents, they handle drought well, and a small collection like this takes up little space. Despite their small size, like other bonsai, they get better with time.
