I designed and made this parallel guide system for my track saw to help make accurate long cuts on sheets of ply and MDF/Melamine. The design consist of two 1m extrusions, 20x40mm. The connectors and slide stop are 3D Printed parts I designed for this system. My tack saw is Makita but it will fit Festool tracks or similar.
The hardware used to connect and attached the parts are M5 T nuts, M5 12mm tapered screws for the extrusion and M6 Flat nuts with M6 20mm tapered screws for the track connection. The slide block uses a M5 Hex bolt and T Nut to slide along the rail.
Make sure to calibrate the system on both rails for accurate and straight cuts
All STL Print files are available on my website www.cncwoodshop.co.za.
