Packing Frugal Holiday Sweet Treats

After retiring from a busy, demanding career as a RN, and after my 5 children are grown and have their own careers and children, I realize that retirement is an ongoing journey of changes and adjustments. I will share some of my experiences and welcome others to share what makes their golden years of retirement enjoyable and fulfilling.
Now that the Holiday Sweet Treats are made, it’s time to gift pack them.
I’ll show you 3 different ways to pack them for ready for gifting.
I’ll also show you the Corn Salad I’m taking to our community Christmas Social. It is easy and attractive to look at and delicious.

CORN SALAD
3 cans Sweet White Corn, whole kernel
4 oz diced pimento, drained, reserve 1 Tablespoon
4 fresh green onions, washed, trimmed, diced
1 teaspoon Salt Free Seasoning, Supreme Tradition
3/4 cup Miracle Whip
Mix all ingredients well, cover, refrigerate overnight
When ready to serve, stir to mix well, sprinkle remaining pimento over top, and garnish with fresh chives or finely sliced green onion tops
Serve cold
Refrigerate leftovers
