Join us this week at the SCSE Club! We will explore 𝐈𝐁𝐃-𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 from 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 using public single-cell and spatial transcriptomic data in 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤2𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 to identify potential therapeutic targets. We’ll then examine the possible roles of these targets using 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐗.
𝐖𝐞’𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫:
Different approaches to narrow down the list of IBD-associated genes obtained from 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 using the latest version of 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤2𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚.
Identifying genes that correlate with potential targets to better understand gene networks linked to IBD.
Performing analyses in 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐗 to investigate the possible roles of these targets and generate hypotheses for experimental validation.
