A recognized farmer-leader and Magsasakang Siyentista, Ruben Ragas of Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, manages a two-hectare farm which has evolved into a tourism-certified organic demonstration site - serving as a model for sustainable agriculture and community learning.
Through the support of the Department of Agrarian Reform’s CoCRoM program, he successfully diversified into aquaculture, livestock production, composting, and agri-entrepreneurship. His entire family actively participates in farm-based education and enterprise, turning their land into a hub of rural transformation.
His work exemplifies innovation, resilience, sustainability, and the power of agrarian reform to uplift lives and communities.
