🏡 🏡 Plastering Our Dream Home in Africa + Cooking a 30kg Cow Leg in Glass Jars 🍖🔥
This was one of the biggest days yet in our journey of building our dream home in Africa. We finally began plastering the walls — covering, smoothing, and shaping every corner of our house. Seeing the walls transform is a dream slowly becoming reality, built with faith, patience, and love. ❤️
But what makes this day even more unforgettable is the feast we prepared together as a family and community. With my husband and our neighbors by my side, we cooked a whole 30kg cow leg inside glass jars 🍖🔥. This rare method is not only for cooking — it’s also a form of traditional food preservation that can keep meat fresh and edible for years.
The process gave us juicy, tender beef infused with natural spices — a true countryside delicacy. We prepared it as a giant feast for our hardworking fundis and workers, celebrating the progress of our dream home. Nothing brings people together like construction, food, and family spirit in the African village. 🌍✨
This video is more than plaster and meat — it’s about building, preserving, and sharing. A story of how African families celebrate milestones with love, food, and unity.

🍖 30kg Cow Leg in Glass Jars (Recipe Snapshot)
• Ingredients Used:
• White onions 🧅 (sweet and aromatic base)
• Black pepper seeds 🌿 (for earthy spice and heat)
• Bay leaves 🍃 (to give a rich, smoky fragrance)
• Cow leg meat 🥩 (30kg, cleaned and cut into portions)
• Method:
1. Layer beef chunks with sliced white onions, whole black pepper seeds, and bay leaves inside large glass jars.
2. Seal the jars tightly and slow-cook over fire until the meat is tender, juicy, and deeply infused with spices. 🔥
3. Allow jars to cool and store — this method of cooking & sealing helps preserve the meat for a long time, even years, while keeping flavor locked in.
The result was tender beef with a smoky aroma, served as a giant feast for our workers after a long day of plastering. This is how African families celebrate milestones — with unity, food, and gratitude. 🌍✨
