Your thoughts on taking a muscle to failure. How often, if at all,is this optimal? Is there any benefit at all or is it just better to always have a few reps in the tank?
I realize training a muscle to failure often isn't ideal as it would just make it harder to recover, but I was wondering if including occasionally would help.I've eliminated dropsets/supersets etc. from my workouts just because it allows me to track my progress but would they have any benefit if I started using them again?
