This is the bass tab for a cover of Hank Williams Jr.'s Family Tradition with Joey McNew on drums, and me on everything else.
Now, let's talk a little about Joey McNew and his incredible drumming. Joey is a Nashville based drummer who is one of the kindest and most professional musicians I know. He is kind enough to let me use his drum tracks for these recordings and I am so thankful to him for doing so.

As far as this song goes, I transcribed the original note for note, and replayed all the parts, except the drums of course. I filmed this process so that you could see how the song is played.

Family Tradition was written by Hank Williams Jr., and first appeared on his 1979 album: Family Tradition

The Equipment used in this recording of Family Tradition is as follows:

Slate ML1 Microphone
The software is Cubase Artist.
The audio interface is a Tascam 208i
The Bass sound was created with a Fender Precision Bass, straight into the 208i.
The Guitars are a Telecaster, and a Blueridge Acoustic straight into the 208i. Amplitube 5 was used for amp emulation. (amp used was a 57 Bandmaster)
All vocals were recorded with the Slate ML1
Ozone 9 was used for mastering.
The video, and the recording, were produced by Abraham Myers.
