We took advantage of Icelandair's stop over program by extending our trip with three nights in Iceland! After renting a car, we drove 600 miles in TWO DAYS so that we could check off everything we could from our bucket list.
This is trip is day 1 of our two-day adventure. We did most of the highlights along the Golden Circle, starting as early as we could in the morning. Our hotel for the first two nights was near Keflavik airport, not ideal for driving back-and-forth, but we were working with a reservation booked almost three years earlier (COVID).
