Arriving in Sawtell on the Brisbane to Sydney XPT
In this video, I arrive in Sawtell aboard the southbound Brisbane to Sydney XPT. From Sawtell station I walk into town to explore the town, the beaches, shops, the famous Sawtell Cinema and places to eat and have a drink.
Journey Details:
The Brisbane to Sydney XPT departs Brisbane (Roma St) around 6am, stopping at Sawtell and other towns along the way.
On the southbound route, the train stops at Kyogle, then Casino, where it picks up passengers from NSW TrainLink coaches serving:
Tweed Heads, Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, and other nearby towns.
Another NSW TrainLink coach departs Ballina, traveling along the Pacific Highway and stopping at:
Woodburn, Iluka, Yamba, Maclean, and other small towns before connecting with the XPT at Grafton.
