Lo fill del rey, El testament de n'Amèlia and Cançó del lladre are among the more than dozen popular Catalan folksongs which Miguel Llobet (1878-1938) arranged in the beginning of 20th century. They are played here by Patrik Kleemola on a guitar by José Luis Romanillos "La Veintena", 1979.
Lo fill del rey (King's son) tells a story about a maiden washing linen on the river whose heart King's son pierces while El testament de n'Amèlia (Amèlia's testament) tells a tragic story of a daughter who his fatally poisened by her stepmother. In Cançó del lladre (Thief's song) a thief or a bandit remembers his phases of life while waiting for the verdict in jail.
