The first sight that greets us as we enter the grand arch of Prasanthi Nilayam is the beautiful temple of Lord Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles. This temple has been such a lifeline for so many devotees who till this day pray for sometimes hours together so that He and His Divine Father, our beloved Bhagawan, shower their grace. This temple was inaugurated by Bhagawan way back in the early 1970s, and since then has become one of the greatest icons of the Sathya Sai Avatar. Here we see glimpses of Swami inaugurating the temple. How much more simple the ashram looked then...it is truly amazing to see how much the premises has grown to become the ornate oasis that it is today by His grace and blessings!
