Congolese Refugees living at the Nyakabande holding center in Kisoro district have up to end of October 2022 to choose between joining the settlement and going back home.
This follows a directive from Ministry of disaster preparedness and refugees seeking to cut down the number of Refugees at the center to prevent security and hygiene related consequences.
As a result of what they described as coercion, some have opted to return to DRC while others are settling at Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Isingiro District.
