First, soak the rice for 1–3 hours.
While the rice is soaking, we will prepare the filling.

🔸 How to Make the Filling
Keep the gas on low flame.
Heat a pan and add 1 tsp oil.
Add chopped garlic, chopped ginger and chopped green chilli. Sauté lightly.
Now add all the chopped veggies:
Carrot
Beans
Cabbage
Onion
Capsicum
Paneer
Add salt to taste and mix well.
Add 1 tsp pizza pasta sauce.
Add chopped spring onion
Add chopped fresh coriander
You can also add schezwan chutney if you like.
Mix everything well. Your filling is ready.

🔸 How to Make the Batter
Grind the soaked rice in a mixer.
Now grind it again, and this time add:
2 boiled potatoes
2 green chillies
A small piece of ginger
Some water
Grind into a smooth batter and transfer it to a bowl.
Add salt and whisk it well.

🔸 How to Make Rice Katori
Grease the appe pan with a little oil.
Pour batter in each mould and spread it to give it a bowl/katori shape.
Let it cook on low flame.
Spread green chutney on one side and pizza pasta sauce on the other side.
You can use any chutney or sauce you prefer.
Add the prepared filling inside the katori.
Cook until the bottom turns crispy and crunchy.
Remove from the pan and serve hot with green chutney
