Today, in the heart of nature and right beside a beautiful river, with the sound of flowing water and fresh mountain air, I’m cooking a traditional Persian Ash-e Doogh (Yogurt Soup) outdoors.
This dish is simple, local, and full of flavor — perfect for outdoor cooking.
Ingredients:
Rice, local yogurt (doogh), beet greens (or spinach), lentils, cooked chickpeas, pepper, salt, fresh garlic, and finally one spoon of flour added at the end to help the soup thicken nicely.
