Man leads police on pursuit in pickup truck, then on bicycle

A male driver of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling wrong-way on Interstate 8 (westbound in the eastbound lanes), then northbound 163, turned around at Genesee Ave, then southbound 163
At one point the male stopped for a few seconds on the 163 and as soon as officers started approaching the truck, he took off again
The male exited 10th Avenue from southbound 163 and eventually came to a stop on 8th Avenue just south of Broadway
The male got out of the truck, grabbed a black BMX bicycle from the bed of the truck and started peddling away, with officers still pursuing him
The male was taken into custody in the 900 block of Market Street
Medics were requested to evaluate the male
Police were still investigating if the truck belonged to the driver or not
