2 Why hike across the Netherlands

Which ten walks explain the Netherlands, that astonishing, historic and - yes - flat country on the northwestern edge of the Eurasian landmass? This video is the introduction to the series of videos that I've made, explaining the Netherlands by making ten different walks across it. I'll post four videos for each of the walks, taking in a different part of this amazing country, and tackle a different big issue about the Netherlands every time.

I shot this video in the city of s'-Hertogenbosch and in a forest just outside it. I was lucky enough to find a medieval music festival on when I visited - unfortunately I didn't get the details of the group that I filmed, but I enjoyed their music!
