Location: The dam is in Echippara, Chalakudy taluk, about 36 km from Thrissur city.

Transport: Public transportation is limited, so hiring a private vehicle is recommended. You can also take a bus to Varandarappilly and then hire a local vehicle from there.

Tickets for trekking and other programs are available, but it's advisable to check for availability and pre-book, especially for trekking.
