Welcome back to your basic yoga pose/Posture of the week! This is a series where, over the next several weeks I choose a foundational, basic yoga pose and break it down for you, as far as how to get into the posture, some of its benefits, and some simple modifications to help you more easily adapt to getting into the pose.
This week I have chosen Trikonasana aka triangle pose, to break down for you as a basic, foundational, yoga posture. You will get a quick rundown of how to come into the posture, and with our modifications, we will use a block, and a chair. Some of the benefits of this posture are strengthening through the legs, helping with balance and stability, opening in the hips, chest, and lengthening through the side bodies-The areas between your armpit and your hips.
