Every change, whether in your personal life or in the world around you, begins with the courage to say three simple words.
Discover how the mindset of "I want more" can help you overcome fear and turn a small moment of frustration into a powerful catalyst for change. Moran Zer Katzenstein is the founder of Bonot Alternativa (“Women Building an Alternative”), Israel’s largest women’s grassroots movement. What began as a single Facebook post and a small WhatsApp group grew into a nationwide network of over 100,000 women activists in more than 80 locations.
Built on collective leadership, the movement organized demonstrations, launched community initiatives, built local leadership, and turned shared frustration into meaningful social change. It was never about one woman, but about women leading side by side.
After the October 7 attacks, Moran and the Bonot Alternativa network established an operations center, supported displaced communities.
Moran is a Peres Center Medal of Distinction Laureate. She previously held senior marketing roles at Google, Coca-Cola, L’Oréal, and Playtika and mother of 4 sons. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
