The Ab Vacuum helps you better engage the deep ab muscles that wrap around your spine known as the transverse abdominal muscles ( transverse abdominis). Doing the vacuum can help with improved posture and how you stand throughout the day. It can help with the breath as well which many people take for granted. Any time you spend doing diaphragmatic breathing techniques is a very good thing since most people breathe too shallow all day long. This technique requires deep breathing combined with breath holds.
Give this a go and see over time how you get better at it. Don't be frustrated at first. A few minutes doing this daily can lead to improved results in as little as one week.
