Full uncut video of the decommissioning ceremony for USCGC Boutwell WHEC 719. It's bumpy and long, but the speeches were good and anyone who served aboard this great ship during her 48 year career should have the opportunity to hear this. A military ship is like a living organism. Boutwell was always active and noisy with blowers and generators running even when in port. Hearing everything shut down and seeing the crew disembark to stand in front of us on the pier was a sad experience as they lowered the colors and played "Taps". It was a relief to hear everything start back up as she was prepared for her new life serving the Philippines.
