Ingredients
Chocolate Sponge Cake:
Flour – 150 g
Cocoa powder (baking) – 1 tbsp
Baking powder – 7 g
Sugar – 100 g
Eggs – 3
Sunflower oil – 50 ml
Milk – 50 ml
Salt – a pinch
Cottage Cheese Filling:
Cottage cheese 5% – 2 packs
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Cornstarch – 1 tbsp
Egg – 1
Vanilla or vanilla sugar
Instructions:
Mix the cottage cheese with sugar, egg, starch, and vanilla. Blend for extra smoothness if desired.
Whisk eggs with sugar until fluffy, add oil and milk, then fold in dry ingredients.
Assemble the cake: pour chocolate batter into the pan, add the cottage cheese filling
Bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. If the top browns too quickly, cover with foil.
Let the cake cool 10–15 minutes in the pan, then remove and let fully cool. Enjoy! 💛
