HOLLANDSE EWRTENSOEP RECEPT - DUTCH SPLIT PEA SOUP RECIPE
It's a hearty fall & winter Dutch soup.
The soup should be thick consistency that you can stand a spoon upright in it.
There are some variation in this dish recipe, with slightly differ in ingredients and consistency of the soup.

Step 1: Cook Split Green Pea Soup
ingredients:
500 grams dried split green peas
2.5 liter water
4 cubes beef bouillon
Step 2: Fry Beef Strips
ingredients:
300 grams beef strips
2 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Step 3: Prepare The Vegetables
ingredients:
3/4 of celeriac (celery root)
300 grams carrots
400 grams leeks
40 grams celery leaves
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
sea salt to taste
Step 4: Fry Braadworst (large dutch sausages)
ingredients:
200 grams braadworst
2 yellow onions
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
serve with bread and enjoy your soup
