Hello Everyone,
Today I’m here with a brand new train journey vlog, this time on 129UP Thal Express, traveling from Kot Addu Junction to Kundian Junction. As you may recall from my previous vlog, I arrived at Kot Addu early morning by the Dera Ghazi Khan Shuttle Train. With about two and a half hours to spare before the next departure, I explored the town a bit, enjoyed the lively morning atmosphere, and had a delicious dhaba-style breakfast of chapati, omelet, and tea.
Soon, it was time to board the Thal Express, which runs between Multan Cantt and Rawalpindi on a fascinating Mainline-2 route passing through Kot Addu, Leiah (also called Layyah), Bhakkar, Kundian, Mianwali, Jand, and Attock. The train was overcrowded, and due to mixed-up seat numbers, I spent most of the journey standing near the door but that turned out to be a blessing, as I got to enjoy the beautiful views and interact with local passengers.
From the bustling platforms of Leiah (Layyah), where I grabbed some peanuts, to the calm fields of Bhakkar, where sleep nearly took over, the entire trip offered something special. After nearly six hours on board, I finally reached Kundian Junction, marking the end of this memorable journey.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy this unique ride through the heart of Mainline-2.
