Fascia release is not a well know practice, but one your body will thank you for. Fascia is a fibrous connective tissue that is supposed to move with the body supporting joints, muscles, tendons, bones and movement. When the fascia tissues are healthy, they are hydrated and slide freely. With injury and/or age fascia tissues can get bound up and entangled, dehydrated and "sticky". Through self-massage and yoga poses we can work to help release the entangled fascia promoting blood flow, hydration, fascia mobility and movement without pain. Learn, explore and live healthy.
