In this Subprime Auto F&I Lesson, you will learn why LTV is important and how you can use LTV to help your customers get approved and driving. Members receive access to the LTV sheet on our website.

NOTE: Depending on where your dealership is located, some dealerships use the term "ACV" to refer to their cost (how much they purchased the vehicle for and any additional repairs needed in order to sell). That is not our definition. That is now how insurance companies and finance companies use the term. We follow the lead of these companies and use ACV to refer to the Actual Cash Value of the vehicle, meaning how much an insurance company would pay out in the case of a total loss.
