This session explores the app’s purpose, the research underpinning its development, and practical ways nurses can integrate iHeal into their interactions with clients to enhance support, agency, and health.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Describe the iHeal app and its role in supporting individuals experiencing IPV through trauma- and violence-informed care.
• Identify evidence-based features of the iHeal app that promote safety, healing, and health for women navigating IPV.
• Recognize practical strategies for nurses and community health providers to integrate the iHeal app into clinical practice to enhance client support, agency, and outcomes.
