In this webinar, we explore the multiple and intersecting effects of trauma, violence and structural conditions on women’s health, safety and well-being, and identify factors that contribute to women’s healing and growth.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Identify common mental and physical health issues associated with experiencing IPV.
• Explain the intersecting causes of these health problems, with a focus on trauma, injury, and everyday stress.
• Describe conditions that can foster health and growth among women who have experienced IPV.
• Identify evidence-based principles and strategies for promoting the health and well-being for those who have experienced or are experiencing IPV across diverse contexts.
