STEP BY STEP EXERCISE this CHIROPRACTOR did to WALK FOR MILES with LUMBAR SPINAL STENOSIS. (EASY to SCALE/ EASY to DO)
1. PRIMING EXERCISES
2. Begin with the STANCE
3. Start WALKING with ABDOMINALS SLIGHTLY BRACED
3. Continue to WALK UNTIL YOU BEGIN TO FEEL THE SYMPTOMS
THEN STOP WALKING
4. DECOMPRESS your spine using a wall, bench or fence..
DECOMPRESS 15-30 SECOND OR UNTIL THE SYMPTOMS STOP.
5. RESUME WALKING until symptoms begin to appear again .
Then STOP AND DECOMPRESS UNTIL SYMPTOMS STOP,
Then CONTINUE WALKING .
6. GRADUALLY INCREASE THE LENGTH AND TIME OF YOUJR WALKS OVVER TIME.
7. ITS EASIER AND HEALTHIER TO BREAK YOUR WALKS INTO SEVERAL SHORTER SESSIONS. For example, 2-4 15 minute walks is better than 1
one hour walk per day.
