Today on when beauty turns ugly, we take a look at several lipstick-related lawsuits, including a Sephora lawsuit, a M.A.C makeover lawsuit, and a lawsuit that claims Rihanna's Lipstick gave people herpes!

On October 29th, 2015, Plaintiff Elena Davoyan, popped to her local Sephora to purchase a lipstick.

She wanted to test the lipsticks before committing, and as many people do, she walked over to the testers, often called common use samples, and started applying the lipsticks.

Very soon after, Elena was professionally diagnosed with herpes.
So she took Sephora to court!

But did Elena and the other plaintiff's win against huge businesses like M.A.C, Sephora... and Rihanna?
