RICE STICK NOODLES STIR FRY WITH PORK AND VEGETABLES
227 gms. Chinese Rice Stick Noodles
1 pork chop (or use sliced pork
3 + 3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 1/2 tablespoons sliced ginger
1/2 cup red pepper sliced
1/2 cup green pepper sliced
1/2 cup celery sliced
1/2 cup kholrabi cabbage sliced
12 cup carrots sliced
2 cups bean sprouts
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon Chinese oyster sauce
3 tablespoons dark soy sauce
Cooking instructions:
In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add noodles and cook to desired
tenderness, Pour into strainer and rinse with cold water.
Slice pork chop into bite size pieces. Cut vegetables into slices.
Rinse bean sprouts with cold water.
Preheat wok at medium heat. Add cooking oil. Add ginger and celery.
Stir fry briefly. Add pork and stir fry until 1/2 cooked through. Take off
pork and set aside on a plate.
Turn heat setting to high. Add more cooking oil. Put in red peppers, green
peppers, celery, carrots and kholrabi cabbage. Stir fry for 1 minute. Add
bean sprouts and stir fry briefly. Add noodles, along with light soy sauce,
oyster sauce and dark soy sauce. Stir fry to evenly coat the noodles with the sauces.
Add pork and do final stir fry. Serve on a nice large plate. Or serve on 2 dinner
size plates. Enjoy!
