Sanjay Kapur Case: Delhi High Court To Hear Karisma Kapoor's Kids' Plea In Property Share

In a high-profile inheritance dispute, Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved the Delhi High Court seeking their rightful share in the property and assets of their late father, businessman Sunjay Kapur, whose estate is valued at around Rs 30,000 crore. The children challenge the validity of a will dated March 21, 2025, which allegedly bequeaths the entire estate to their stepmother, Priya Kapur. The suit accuses Priya Kapur of forging the will and conspiring with associates to suppress the document for over seven weeks before it surfaced, excluding the children from the inheritance.

The pleaders have sought the court’s intervention to freeze the estate to prevent any transfer or disposal of assets while the dispute unfolds. They also demand a partition of the estate, rendition of accounts, and permanent injunction against unauthorized actions by the defendants. This legal battle marks one of the most significant and closely watched inheritance cases involving a prominent business family intertwined with Bollywood’s elite.
