Cruising Through LEGOLAND in VR – 180VR Boat Ride!

We're back in LEGOLAND! I always enjoy making these kind of videos so it's nice to create the next episode.

This time I'm doing an experiment with the 180 VR mode. I've made 360 VR videos in LEGO before. But it's quite difficult to watch it on a tablet/mobile phone. Looking behind you requires quite a bit of movement, which isn't always possible when watching on a chair or couch. So I hope this is a more pleasant watching experience. I love to push the boundaries to bring these classic LEGO games back in an interesting way.

In the game there are 2 variations of this attraction. The first one is the pirate Boating School. The other is the Jungle Cruise. These attraction are so similar that I've decided to combine the two. Normally it's a ride that goes in a circle but in this video it's a point A to point B attraction. I thought it would be fun to see a transition in the theme. So halfway through the ride we change from the LEGOLAND attractions into the Adventures attractions. That opened the possibility to utilize the unused soundtrack for the Adventures.

You have probably noticed the different characters from other LEGO games. I thought that would be a fun addition. Have you spotted the Brickster anywhere?

I think the next video for this series would be the Castle roller coaster. I'm really excited to make that video, but I have some technical hurdles to overcome before I can make that video.
