After seeing polar bears at Kvitøya, we thought we got our quota of polar bears. Some of us were saying that it would be nice to see a mom with cubs, but we thought that was wishful thinking and very unlikely. Nature being unpredictable, not only it became a reality, but they were also feeding on a walrus carcass! We were privileged to witness this raw nature event at the beautiful and remote Lomfjorden, a fjord on the eastern coast of Spitsbergen, Svalbard. Very grateful to have this experience!!
