🥧 Pecan Pie Ingredients

1/4 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon flour

3 eggs, beaten well

1 cup dark corn syrup

2 to 2 1/2 cups pecan pieces (plus extra for decorating)

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

👩‍🍳 How to Make Pecan Pie

1. Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth.

2. Gradually add the vanilla, salt, flour, beaten eggs, and corn syrup. Mix until well combined.

3. Add the pecan pieces to the unbaked pie shell, spreading evenly.

4. Pour the filling mixture over the pecans. Decorate the top with extra pecans if desired.

5. Bake in a preheated 450°F (232°C) oven for 10 minutes.

6. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (177°C) and continue baking for 30–35 minutes, or longer, until the pie is set.

7. Cool before slicing for best results.
