Soft Baked Nutrolls Recipe | Sweet Nut-Filled Rolls

These homemade Nutrolls are soft, lightly sweet, and filled with a cozy nut-and-sugar filling, then baked and sliced just like a loaf 🍞✨
This is one of those classic bakes that fills the kitchen with the best smell and tastes even better the next day.

In this video, I’ll walk you through the whole process — from making the dough, spreading the nut filling, rolling it up, baking, and slicing 🤍

📌 Recipe: Makes 4 small
👉 Dissolve 1 packet of yeast into 1 cup of warm milk. Set aside.

👉 Combine 4 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tsp salt.

👉 Then cut in 1/2 cup of butter.

👉 Then add 3 egg yolks (save egg whites)

👉 Cool overnight.

👉 In the morning roll out and spread with filling.

📌 Filling Recipe:

👉 3 egg whites beat stiff peaks (don't over whip)

👉 Then fold in 1 lb ground walnut and 1 1/4 cup sugar.

👉 Let rise 2 hours.

👉 Bake at 350* for 45mins or 30-35 mins.

👉 When out of the oven slightly cool and then crisco on top.

– Don’t overfill or the roll may split
– Let it cool before slicing for clean, neat pieces
