Clinical psychologist Dr Susan Sands believes that we should stop focusing on the image of what our bodies look like on the outside and instead cultivate a more pleasurable experience of what our internal world feels like. Dr Sands is known for her trailblazing work in female development and body-based disorders and brings in body-focused practises from Buddhist techniques in her work with patients.
