TMS Maintenance Sessions | Is TMS a Cure For Depression? | NeoPsych | 91204

My definition of a cure means not needing future maintenance or further follow up appointments. The effects of TMS can last for months, years, or the rest of a person's life. Wherever someone falls on that spectrum, reasonable questions to ask are:

When to do maintenance sessions?
When to go for repeat treatment?
How often should you do maintenance sessions?

There are no official guidelines regarding any of these questions that I know of. Maintenance treatments are something that need to be customized between patient and provider. As time goes on I'll be looking to discuss more on this in future videos.

Lastly, when I said "didn't get better first time around" in the video, I was alluding to what insurance companies regard as a "clinical response." You'll need to speak with your provider for more details.
