As babies, there was no need for us to learn how to breathe properly as it is something we naturally do without any conscious effort. However, as we mature and grow older, we start to lose this innate ability, while our breathing pattern began to change and adapt accordingly to our habits and posture.
Why is having a proper breathing technique so important?

2. It helps to increase and maintain good lung capacity.
3. Improves your sleep quality.
4. Reduces stress levels and calms anxiety (relaxation), etc.
Optimal breathing ensures that your lungs do not lose their function to expand and recoil effectively. This also maintains the extensibility of your ribs muscles and its mobility, reducing the need to use your upper chest and neck muscles to assist in breathing.
