A walk/wheel around the Haldon forest Park woods near Exeter on their Green Discovery trail.

Wow what a great place to go. Several different trails to choose from but we chose the Discovery trail as we didn't want to do a more challenging one. Dogs are allowed but not on the cycle routes.
Great parking and many disabled bays. Disabled need to pay for parking.
Great accessible toilets here and a lovely cafe with great food. Bit difficult to manoeuvre inside as lots of tables but there is seating outside too.
You will have to cross two roads on this route so please be very careful.
Great pine forest and the smell is amazing after a bit of rain, which we had.
This was a lovely route and a great look out point along the way.
Lots of things and activities to do for children and the go ape tree part was great.
I can imagine it being very busy in holiday season here.
You can hire a tramper but I would think it would be booked very quickly.
Just a great route and great woodland so close to Exeter.
